"Owl"

There is something hypnotizing about owls. Quiet, dangerous and majestic ...

  1. Twice we have had an owl sitting on top of our roof - both times, it was there for at least 3 days, - day and night - we thought it most odd, but it must have liked the area for height and hunting and just generally checking ooot our neighbourhood. I think it had a nest nearby and this was easy to watch for prey and its family. Lovely painting Marielle.

  3. There's something Klimt-ish about this one; I love it.

    1. Thank you, Em. That's a very interesting idea! Well, I didn't have Klimt's paintings in my mind while painting it, but now I do notice some resemblance.
