3 Sketches of a Nude

Today I'm showing you three sketches of a female nude. They are all made with charcoal, which allows creating very deep as well as very subtle shades and a lot of different lines and textures.

all three: 15x20cm, charcoal on paper

We have an anniversary today. It's exactly three months since I made my first post on this blog. Thanks for being there and sharing your thoughts, not only on my blog but also on your blogs. You are all very inspiring for me and I'm happy that I can be in touch with all the great things you do. Thanks again and have a lovely week! :)

  5. Thank you Marielle for touching my life with your beautiful talent. Cheers and have a lovely week also. We are celebrating the Chocolate Festival and the International Festival this week and weekend here in our small town and also small town across the river (Maine, USA). Its a week filled with sidewalk vendors from all over on both sides of the border, much music, artists, games, challenges, lumberjacks n lumberjills - parade, fireworks and many dinners out and much chocolate tasting.....as, we have our very own home made Ganong Chocolate Factory right here - thus, Ganong Chocolates n all kinds of candy and chocolate bars, etc. Anyway, have a great day.
