"Tree in the Mountains"

I'm very proud to present to you my newest work. I've just finished it today, so you're up to date with what I am doing right now. I've been working on it for more than a week and it's a result of my reflections about the humbling beauty of mountains.

The tree you see is a metaphor of independent thought and deep understanding of life, things that are usually born in the trying circumstances and always give us strenght to make the impossible become possible.

      Thank you so much. I had this idea for some time as a sketch. The painting turned out to be a great adventure, once I started working on it. And it really is nice to look at now that it's finished. I must admit that :)

    This is indeed very interesting and mysterious - I love these olde trees one finds in the middle of nowhere - when I am oot n aboot with me camera in hand, I am so happy to find these lonely olde trees, that just inspire you to take photos. There is something most satisfying about lonely olde trees and you have captured this one in a beautiful way.

    Beautiful! The tree makes me think the same things and I really admire it for being able to withstand everything and just grow there between those rocks.
