"Sketch of Ruins in Snowdonia"

This is a sketch I made in Snowdonia some time ago. I'm a romantic, so I just love mysterious places. And what place is more mysterious than the one that has faded away under the spell of time in the wilderness of Snowdonia?

  1. This sketch just makes me want to scour the grounds and look for hidden treasure, perhaps an arrowhead or old traders gold piece. Did you actually go inside or could you. I love this sketch for it draws me into its mystery. Have a wonderful day.

    1. Yes, you can actually go inside and look out of the window! As for digging for treasure, I didn't try it myself, but I like to think that there are many forgotten treasures just waiting to be discovered :)

  3. This reminds me of sketches by old masters before they go in for the big painting - it's gorgeous.
