"Church in Llanfechain, Wales"

This is a drawing of a beautiful old church in Llanfechain, surrounded by the magnificent Welsh countryside. While drawing it I was intrigued by the stonework of the walls and the pattern on the black and white porch.
I visited this village so many times and I was happy that I could capture the peaceful atmosphere of this lovely place.

  1. Hi Marielle, Thanks for visiting Dartmoor Ramblings and I love your work. This one reminds me of drawings my Father's THIRD wife Dorn does. I suppose she is my step mother but I don't think of her like that! It's beautiful but my favourite is the Circus Acrobats. What an amazing variety of skills you have.....however.............no followers button so I can't press it. Do add one and I'll put you in my sidebar so I hope others will come over and look at your work. Let me know when you have!

  2. Your drawing reminds me of a wonderful trip through Wales I took as a student in the 70ties. I might even have seen this church. A very peaceful atmosphere, indeed.
